Information:
If
you are upgrading from a previous version of AC Log:
-
Do not remove your previous version until 3.0 is up and running.

Download version 3.0 and install it.
-
Let the program install in the default AC Log 3.0 directory.
Do not install 3.0 in the same directory as a previous version!

When the program starts for the first time, it will ask if you
are upgrading. Just answer "yes" and follow
the prompts.
- After you are satisified that your log data
and main form settings have been transferred, and you have manually
moved over any other log files, you may remove your previous
version using Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove programs.
In the beginning of my amateur experience, my Dad, Fred - WB3DLV
(a Silent Key who LOVED CW), and I used
index cards to keep track of our contacts. After
I started computer programming, I knew I wanted to create a program
that would perform all the functions my Dad and I used to dream about
when I was a kid. The result of this
dream is Amateur Contact Log.
Not
only have our ideas been included, I have also incorporated many of the fine
suggestions I have received from thousands of AC Log users around the
world. I can't thank everyone enough for
your ideas, support and kind words. I am
grateful for all the positive response I have received concerning AC Log, and
very thankful for the friends I have made as a result of it. I hope you enjoy using AC Log as much I enjoy
creating and supporting it!

Tracking of
Worked All States, Worked All Counties, Worked All Countries,
DXCC, VUCC, Grids, Zones, IOTAs,
Lighthouses and many other achievements.
The user interface is customizable! You can
choose to display any of the 32 data fields you want and where you want them.
Includes a database of counties and
countries.
Query by band, mode, or power level to easily track your accomplishments by
individual and multiple criteria.

previous contact details with the station currently being worked

by typing the call in the call field and hitting the Tab key.

you go to bed. The calldata was last
updated on
December 24, 2007. The next planned update is July, 2008.
If you would like to download the calldata
files (which are updated weekly) directly from the FCC and RAC, click these
links (be careful, even zipped the FCC file is over 40 meg!) After download,
you must convert these files before you can use them in AC Log.
(From AC Log's menu options click File > Convert FCC Database
or Convert RAC Database and follow the instructions on the form.)
